4th GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES
Extra credit
Students are to write a 400 word report on the Lenape tribe who we study about in Lesson 4. Included in this report should be details about the history of the tribe, details about their culture and customs, where they lived in New Jersey, and the importance of the tribe to New Jersey. You can include information on famous Lenape tribe leaders, mention Lenape legends, and
discuss why it is important that we learn about the Lenape tribe in regards to the our studies of New Jersey. Students must type their work (times new roman, size 12, double spaced) and include illustrations throughout their report (either by their own hand or images from the internet). You may use your text book and outside resources to research the Lenape tribe and therefore must include a bibliography at the end of your report that includes all internet sites and books used to complete the report.

This week we will be reviewing for our Unit 1 Test which we will take on Friday. We will also be taking our Unit 1 vocabulary test on Wednesday.
